JR You hit a nerve with your story, as it is eerily similar to mine. Good to see you outside the Beacon. I browsed Dell's website. They have sales ending Wednesday. I am pretty much ready, but not sure I want to rush my decision. My friend Danny just bought the 4600. I think you know him. He could probably use some advice also, as he wants to transfer his master reels and cassettes. I see their DVD burners are only +. I want +/-. Can I get what I need seperately if I go with Dell? Also need a notebook for traveling. Give me a call. On a different note, I've been using some nice products from Amazon Herb Co. http://www.rainforestbio.com/kaml/ I'm also open to new ideas. Ernie

Great website. Thanks for all the useful information. I live in Chicago and didn't know about the Watertower Place foodcourt having a raw componant. Karyn's is fantastic and I can often drag not-raw friends there, (who after the meal don't want to leave) but sharing a meal there with family is out of the question. You know how that is! But the food court with all the cooked food selections for them and the raw for me, well that's great!! Soul Veg on 75th and Indiana on the South side is another raw/cooked spot that I love. Raw eaters need to go in the corner store front to pick out their dishes from a glass case. If you choose to eat in, walk out and into the restaurant next door. Your food will be passed through a small window. Everything is of course vegetarian. I.T.R.Y Juice Bar at 113th and Michigan Ave. also offers a smattering of raw food dishes prepared with love. Check these places out.

I accidently stumbled across your site while searching for something else. I was quite pleased that it happened. I ead through your entire list of topics and aticles and found many that I was veru interested in. I would like to know if there is a way to access certain articles. It was very interesting, not surprising to find articles addressing particular issues that ae still today being issues with health, such as vaccinations, anti-depressants. flourides, etc. Thank you in advance for your speedy and kind reply, hopefully with the answers that I seek. Great Information!!!!!!! My husband and I were vegetarian for 15 years and now 90% raw vegan. We been down a rocky road we had a son we were adopting and because we were vegetarian we were prevented from finalizing the adoption. He was given to a no.-vegetarian family. But through it all we have made it, we didn't give up on our health and now we are feeling great and ready to try and adopt again. So if you know of a vegetarian friendly country where we can adopt please let us know. We live in the middle of the meat and dairy industry here in Indiana. God Bless You Shirley and James

Hello, My name is Viorica Mihalcea and I am living in Australia from 1992. I am Romanian and I learnt about raw food in 1985 (in Romania) and I believe it saved my life. I would love to get in touch with people that are enjoying this lifestyle and to find the group from Brisbane or Queensland (a few years back I had an little information booklet that this group used to drop in the Green Grocer Health Food Shop, but I just couldn’t find it). I will further research this matter, but in case you could help me with some information, I would very much appreciate it. With warm regards, Viorica Mihalcea

I am an engineer, and have started to use fruits and vegetables in raw state.Mainly say more fruits, tropical, mangos, papayas, bananas, pine apple...etc. Cheap here and plenty.also some others. In my experience one who can live on that is doing a good job to the body. For tha last ten years I never saw any doctor.and before I was in medical insurance and easily asking for doctor when had some bursitis crisis, and sciatica crisis..never had last ten years. I do believe in this diet. It is expensive in USA,but not here in Brazil, in this northern state. Well, any one who could infor me the enzyme contents of each tropical fruit. This is what I am looking for. Amylase, Protease, Lipase....or any other. Thanks Norbert Busin

I am looking over many websites about raw food diets and juicing for health. It is something I am considering for myself. At the same time, we offer an interesting perspective on common products used in the home, and the very real health hazards they pose for the typical family. When chosing a diet which promotes better physical and spiritual health, it makes sense to extend that enlightened attitude toward your personal care and cleaning products. We welcome visitors to our website mentioned above. Come, take a tour!

If you do, prepare to set it up to handle three times the capacity of all three of your Restaurants. There are a lot of health conscious people in Harlem, particularly from the Baby Boomer erra. Friendly Greetings To Everyone! Let's all be positive and look for what is unmistakenly the most important aspect of the here and now... Aren't we all affected by the way we go about preserving our existence? Shouldn't we be concerned with being good to ourselves inside-and-out? What effects do we have on the inner and outer environment and how is that we are moved by how we influence each other? In what way can each one of us benefit from such synergistic harmony? Who wouldn't agree that raw foods are naturally revitalizing? Do you think you might be interested in looking at the link between our spiritual side and what sustains us physically? If you are intellectually stimulated by what is going on in our world, aware of universal ecological events and wish to improve conditions by doing what you can to promote a land free of waste and eliminate pain and suffering as much as possible, and are compassionate and have a humane conscience, then get together and enjoy pot luck raw food dinners together. New group forming in the West LA Pico/Robertson area, raw vegan kosher parve organic natural pure and wonderful. For more information contact Janine at 310-358-9941 and hear about the Rabbi's talk on the Orthodox Perspective on Vegetarianism linking religion from the right from the source of the Old Testament. Any comments? What does a Vegetarian Holy Sabbath sound like to you?

On Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at 12:07 PM, Charles Partito wrote: To Whom it may concern: ( jo. mark, bob, jb ellis ) I just spoke with David. He admits uncovering a book that literally no one had read. He absolutely used ( stolen as a preacher steals from the bible ) some of the text of that book. This because the message in this book was powerful and correct and needed ( in his opinion ) to reach the masses. This was his 1st book he admits being young, militant and naive and maybe he should of quoted his sources, maybe not? As what he did was completely legal and it worked in a big way ( meaning there is alot more healthy happy people because of it ). Those great ( stolen ) words of that long forgotten book found the masses ( thank you David ). Now that he's a little older and wiser would he still do it the same ? Probably not. The moron thing, again young, militant full of piss and vinegar as they say ( just like you guys are now ). Would he choose the same word today? Probably not ( it's past time to get over it, don't you think?). Not sure didn't David write his 1st book around 10 years ago? Every other book he has written is of his own hand ( including 3 more coming out this year). David cannot possibly keep up with all the positive in his life and there's no way he's going make the little bit of negative he receives from a very select few his priority. Who would? ( so if David chooses not to communicate with ignorant please don't tell yourself' he's afraid of you, as your welcome to any of his seminars ) Davids pro's far out weigh the miniscule negatives on such a grand scale the negatives aren't even worth mentioning. However, for the very rare few who cannot possibly get over his "mistakes" of years past I would suggest to continue eating at Mc Donald's. And with a little patience maybe David will someday become as perfect as you. You people are negative and the only purpose you serve is to insure the raw community is divided ( 99% to 1%). So when you get the chance take my words and place your ignorant comments next to them. Because thats what gets you off!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Meanwhile you keep on raining and David will keep on being the parade. For all my ignorant comments of the past I do apologize it is truly out of character. Charles p.s. for bob 10,000 years is alot closer then 400000 but still no cigar. I haven't time right now as I'm a CEO of 3 corporations and a practicing N.D. They still haven't shut me off bob ( 3 requests )

First time i heard about raw food it was about 10 years ago. Since then i follow this dieta every year but never i managed more than 4 months. During this dieta my health it's considerably improved. Unfortunately i don't have any friends who to have the same beliefs and i am not yet so strong to follow this way of life continously. So after 4 months i feel so good that i start again to drink and smoke and other bad habits. I know I am stupid but that's is.Two months ago I started again because my health deteriorated. And again I feel very good. But no one around me encourage me despite they realize I am better and they try to convince me to give up. I think that the solution is to give up but them not this wonderful way of real life.I need some friends with same beliefs but in this society its very fifficult to find them. The only one friend are you and many thanks for your help.Sorry for my bad english. I wish you Good Luck!

I think being a rawfooder is quite the interesting lifestyle. I myself am 18 a college freshman, and I was vegetarian for about a year and a half. I stopped for lack of nutrition because I didnt supplement my bodies needs to well. I want to return to the vegetarians lifestyle cause I dont like meat too much, could you send me information on simple vegetarian meals. I cannot cook for the life of me so I need easy to follow things, even recipes or things I can buy at the local supermarket and simple put in a pot, stove or microwave would be great. Thank you, you are difinetly an inspiration to those who think being a vegetarian is hard. *Claudia*

I've been 100% raw for one month and have never felt better in my life! I was vegan before that and very much into animal rights. After reading a bit about a raw foods diet, it all just made so much sense. I couldn't stand the thought of killing (cooking) my veggies anymore! I drink at leat one fresh veg/fruit juice everyday, lots of fruit and salad. For those trying to switch, I highly recommend raw tahini on salads, fruit, or veggies. It is very filling and tastes great. I loved reading the biographies, it's so enjoyable to know there are others who feel the same way! Terra

Hiiii!!!! Just found out about fruitarianism. It has reinstalled my faith in nature! I used to be a vegetarian but gave up because I felt just as strongly about killing them as I do animals. I began to think nature forced us to kill. I gave up seven years ago. But as soon as I found out about fuitarianism I knew I had to become one that instant. It's taken me a while to get round to investigating it but I'm sure I'll be one soon. Bit worried about the lack of certain nutrients though. Cheers4Now Al. Frutarianz for ever!

Dear JR, Hello! What a story! I have been clean/sober for 5 years now, AA and NA. I am going slow on raw foods. I am about 70% now. In the past I went nn it, all raw, all at one time , and it was not a success,, too fast,, too many cleaninng reactions, so this time, I am goingo use the old noggin', and do it intuitively, sanely. Your story is inspiriing, please keep up the goodwork! YOurs truly, Michael
