But just how does a type A personality differ from type B behaviorly? I ask because I'm AB+. As far as Dr. Dadamo's blood type theory and associated diets, I haven't tried implementing his ideas but they look interesting. Adriana: And how's your Ashtanga practicing doing??? I've improved quite a bit since I started having 2 hours classes three times a week :o). Jo: I really enjoy it. I enjoy it so much that I don't miss running at all. But I've been walking a lot this winter, especially since my car broke down last month and I got rid of it rather than spend more money on repairs. Fry would not have died prematurely if they did this "FEELING MEDITATION" WILL HELP & TEACH ALL HUMANS TO SELF-HEAL By Dr. Bernarr, D.C., D.D. Millions of people throughout the world practice various forms of meditation, yet are needlessly sick and many of them prematurely and needlessly die. These millions of people who practice various forms of meditation, may be needlessly sick and may prematurely and may needlessly die, unfortunately believing that their respective meditation that they practice, is the best form of meditation known. Some of the foremost teachers and advocates of the raw vegan lifestyle, died, suffering needlessly and prematurely from illnesses that they did not know how to help heal. Some of these famous raw vegan advocates and teachers who died prematurely and needlessly, not knowing how to help heal themselves, were Dr. Herbert Shelton, who died of Parkinson's Disease, T.C. Fry, who died of Cardio-Vascular-Pulmonary Dysfunction, Dr. Christopher Gian-Cursio, who died of Congestive Heart Failure, Dr. Robert Gross, who died of Pancreatic and Brain Cancer, etc. If they had learned and practiced "Feeling Meditation", they would have been able to help heal themselves and not have prematurely died. What does "Feeling Meditation" teach that no other known form of meditation teaches? "Feeling Meditation" teaches that every pathology and physiological dysfunction produces a concomitant symptomatology in all human beings. This means, that your inherent intelligence, your God within, whenever you are ill, produces symptoms upon which you should concentrate, pay attention to and feel, until you are asymptomatic, i.e., until your symptoms completely and permanently disappear. If and when you will do this, your illness and the cause of your illness, will help heal completely and permanently. I have personally studied for many years, every well known method of meditation. I have improved on all of these well known methods of meditation. I have evolved the most successful method of meditation known to modern civilization. It always guarantees to give all human beings, optimum results. I have taught this method of "Feeling Meditation" to many thousands of people. It is simple, most effective and everyone can learn to do it satisfactorily. Try it and you will prove to yourself that it always works! "Feeling Meditation" is listening to your God within, your inherent intelligence. Your God within is always talking to you, not with words, but with communicating with you, via "feelings" throughout your body. Meditation is listening to the God within, the inherent intelligence. The God within is always talking to you, not with words, but with communicating with you via "feelings" throughout your body. Prayer is becoming silent, going within, aligning with and acknowledging God as All-in-All. Meditation and prayer are 2 steps with the same ultimate goal, communion with the God within. You are an expression of the image and likeness of the God within. You are whole and perfect. As you are already perfect, all you need do is to commune with the God within, become aware of that perfection and become healed. The purpose of life is the pursuit of happiness. You do so by developing and evolving to become the ultimate beautiful, perfect God whom you really are. You best accomplish such, by every moment of your life, you should be meditating in self-di! scovery and self-improvement. Never do anything that does not improve you. All living beings in the wild, plants, animal and humans, instinctively are in meditation and communion with the God within. All civilized human beings should relearn that they should constantly have their eyes closed, to be in constant meditation and communion with the God within. They should open their eyes only to satisfy their immediate necessary biological needs. Civilized men and women unfortunately have improperly learned to be self-destructive because every moment of their lives, they are pursuing unnecessary self-imposed socioeconomic needs. To meditate, you should close your eyes and keep your eyes constantly closed. You should concentrate, feel, focus your thoughts on, pay attention to, be still and simultaneously let go. Let go and let the God within take over. You are but a passenger on the train of life, not the conductor. The God within you always knows what to do. It always has done the ! right thing. It always does the right thing. It always will do the right thing. It has been doing so, infinitely, as long as the universe has existed. It has already been built into every cell of the living body. It has already been built into the genes, the chromosomes and DNA..With your eyes closed, you can do all the concentration you want, because with your eyes closed, you are at-one with the very source of your being, the God within. To meditate, place your body in, and keep your body in, a comfortable position. Close your eyes, keep your eyes closed and keep your body inactive. Go into every part of your body and feel and think on whatever disconcerting sensations your body is producing, as intensely as you can. Keep concentrating and keep your mind on whatever symptoms you feel till they completely disappear. You may think that it feels like it is getting worse and that it will last forever. You will learn to realize that those are just irrational thoughts. Just experi! ence it and you will learn to relate differently to your symptoms. Concentrate on your symptoms whether they be physical, mental and/or spiritual. The God within is always talking to you. To meditate, feel, concentrate and think on, whatever the God within is telling you, in the form of feeling sensations. If when you close your eyes, you daydream or sleep, i.e., your mind is wandering, then keep daydreaming or sleeping, until your mind becomes still. Whether this takes seconds, minutes, hours or days, daydream or sleep all you need, before you begin your meditating. When your eyes are closed and your mind is still, then you are meditating. You do not need a guru, teacher, guide, mantra or any esoteric ritual, to meditate. You can properly meditate, just by closing your eyes and "feeling" while your mind is still. Meditation done properly, is the best method of helping you hep heal yourself. You just close your eyes and keep your eyes closed, till you have achieved your goal in whatever part of your body, that you so choose. If you have any problems learning to do feeling meditation, contact me NOW. I will teach you how to always successfully and properly do feeling meditation. Thus, you will always achieve optimum results and will always help heal your problems, whether they be physical, mental and/or spiritual. On a commercial for a super protein, the guy was saying he used to eat 24 eggs for breakfast, and three steaks for lunch...but now he just takes super-duper protein instead. In my opinion, anyone that is dumb enough to eat 24 eggs for breakfast, should have his butt kicked by Jeff Ross! . (I don't guess anyone on here does that? ) But seriously, this commercial was during a women's weight lifting competition. A woman in good shape, to me, looks good. These women just looked ugly to me. No, I do not do hatha yoga exercises. I get all my flexibility via exercising via weightlifting and running. Hi Bernarr - can you elaborate on how you gain suppleness and extended range of movement, say, spinal flexion, from weightlifting and running? Or are you saying that the flexibility developed from these activities are sufficient for your needs? Bernarr: Most of the alleged benefits of hatha yoga and similar physical exercise programs, I contend are strictly autosuggestion. The western consumer public are not that sophisticated about exercise physiology and kinesiology and gullibly buy almost any thing involving eastern philosophy. Jo: I'd believe you if you narrowed your contention to your experience only (they don't do anything for YOU). The fact that you'd be willing to deny the benefits enjoyed by others in practising yoga or tai chi or chi gong or whatever, leads me to ask you three questions: 1) have you ever practised any of these exercise systems whose benefits you reckon are only accrued through auto-suggestion? 2) have you ever considered that the JOY of practice in itself is inherently beneficial, above and beyond the physical aspect? 3) you seem to be implying that weightlifting and running (activities you practise) are "western" exercises devoid of "eastern" foo foo philosophy. Do you then also consider swimming a "western" exercise? what about dance? Bernarr: The western public unfortunately believe the "grass is greener on the other side". Jo: Sometimes it is, sometimes not, at varying levels, for each person, and at each moment in time. Please check it out if you've never explored the banquet of human physical expressions beyond western culture. Bernarr wrote in part: Diseases are instituted by the inherent intelligence, the God within, and are conducted for the purpose of cleansing, repair and restoration of body balance or homeostasis (the uniform balance the body maintains). Jo: I believe this to be true also. Bernarr: Only substances and practices that promote health can enable the return of health. You "cure" ham, not living beings. Many mistakenly believe that certain therapies or treatments can perform specific actions upon the body to effect a "cure". The idea is that some extra-vital agent or influence can, of its own power, restore health to a sick living being. Jo: I agree with the general principle you're outlining. Bernarr: Whether they be in the form of drugs, medicines, sera, ... [snip] ... supplements and/or enzymes, there are no "cures". Jo: A few of the modalities in your long list beg clarification. Are you telling us that if you accidentally got a durian pit lodged in your windpipe that you'd want me to stand by and not apply the Heimlich maneuver just because it's an external action and therefore would fail to satisfy your criterion of being a process guided by inherent body intelligence? Wouldn't the maneuver be analogous to having a broken bone set so that it would heal properly (and more quickly)? Aren't you going overboard in denying the utility of treatments that have their place in trauma or emergency care situations? If you believe in the divine power within each cell, within the DNA, within all sub-atomic particles of your physical being, then why is it difficult for you to accept psychic healing which, in my opinion, is merely one person's ability (consciously expressed) to transfer healing energy to another (through great love)? Bernarr: In logic, "non sequitur" and "ergo propter hoc", mean because a subsequent event follows some previous event, that does not prove that the previous event caused the subsequent event. Because someone recovers after receiving a particular treatment, that does not prove that the particular treatment caused the subsequent recovery. It may have been purely coincidental. Jo: Fair enough. Shall we apply your logic to raw veganism as well? Why is it that when a chronically ill person recovers through raw veganism, the diet is given a golden key to the city, but when the same person deteriorates over the long term (and thereby falls short of expectations), other lifestyle factors are the culprits and nary a question is raised about that same diet? e.g. Rev. George Malkmus of Hallelujah Acres, T.C. Fry. Bernarr: Unless you conduct a scientifically controlled, double blind and/or clinical experiment to prove the efficacy of some modality to help restore someone to better health, then all you have, is an anecdotal testimonial. Jo: Which is why applying raw veganism as a long-term solution to health-building for every person on earth is still equally without scientific standing. If you can provide a citation to a study of the long term viability of raw vegan foods that fulfills your stipulations above, I'd love to have a gander at it. Dear friends,

Please help me with advice. My son is 13. He is training tennis every day for 3 hours. A herpes appears almost every month next to his lips. In the beginning I thought it was because of the tension before tournaments but then I realised that his body must have something that needs to be cleaned out. Some warts have also been appearing on one of his hands and I am afraid that the problem is progressively spreading around.

My questions are:

1. Is he too young to be passed on the master cleanse/lemonade diet for 10-15 days?

2. Will 10-15 days be a good start and lead to some results as I firmly promised to my son that after applying the master cleanse his problems would disappear and we wouldn’t have to visit a doctor, which he wanted very much but I managed to stop him for the time being. My son promised me that if he would see positive results from the master cleanse we would become a rawfoodist. You see – THE STAKE IS VERY HIGH! We get some results and I get a healthy living boy! I have been fighting with his coaches for 2 years and finally managed to drastically reduce the milk intake from 2 litres per day to almost nothing per week :-) My son listens to me and he perfectly knows that I really care for his health. I have been very patient – bringing articles and books at home and speaking a lot. Initially he was laughing and arguing, then as if he was not paying attention to my activities and now I see he is very much concerned about the matter. I just want to be sure that ! I am not going to lose this time, as it is extremely important to gain one person more on the planet who could advocate our cause.

3. Does anyone know the site/e-mail address of Stanley Burroughs?

I wish to tell you all that Don is one of the best people that I’ve ever met on the net. He has been  extremely helping and supportive to me and my friends as regards to health matters. This applies also to Bob Avery, Forest, Dr. Bernarr, Brenda and many more. Thank you all, dear raw family! I hope that my children and I will be able to help people in the future as well.

Awaiting your comments.

Love

Antoaneta

That's a nice way of thinking about it.  We all have to go there= =20 eventually...

Jo,

>I'd recommend Stretching Scientifically by
>Thomas Kurz, = another=20 East Bloc trainer. It might be available at your
>local library. I'm= =20 using his methods and they have helped my physical
>yoga practice. <= /DIV>

Can you give a sound bite summary of the book, or is it too complex to= =20 explain briefly?

>Also, could you briefly describe "type A" and "type B" = personalities=20
>since I don't think I'm familiar with these designations.

See the link above.  A type A is aggressive, fidgety, workaholic,= =20 impatient, driven.  Type B's are the opposite.

>As far as Dr. Dadamo's blood type theory and associated diets, I=20
>haven't tried implementing his ideas but they look interesting.

Also pretty unscientific, but he has a popular following.

>I got rid of it rather than spend more
>money on repairs. = Plus=20 my mountain bike is still a reliable means of
>transport.

Good for you.  I still have both and use the car more than I=20 oughta.

Dr. Bernarr,

>heimlich maneuver

I agree with most of what you said about "cures," but if I had = something=20 stuck in my windpipe, I would welcome a Heimlich maneuver to help=20 me dislodge it, just as I assume you would welcome somebody's opening = the=20 door for you if you had your finger jammed in it.

There is a certain charisma about David that can help you become empowered in the raw food way of life! Here is a quote of inspiration from David: "Raw plant food is beautiful. Creating and eating this food is an art. Every ingredient is a new color. Each meal is a cloud or a stream or a flower--a piece of the magnificent painting that you are becoming. Every bite is a detailed brush stroke on your work of art in progress. What we see as the world is only a reflection of the work of art we are inside. We find that once we become pure and polished within, everything outside of us also becomes that and more. To me, the raw vegan ideal represents not only a way to live in peace, love, and harmony with Nature and the animals, but also it represents the highest aspirations of beauty in the human spirit." If there was ever a time that you would want to see David in action lecturing about raw-plant-food nutrition and what it can do for your health and well-being, the time is now!
