I agree about the point concerning cancer and lifestyle in general, and I
also agree about getting at the cause and not using all the hokus pokus
toxins touted by the medical establishment. In the case of a Wilms tumor,
most of these that I have seen were present and birth, and are genetic, so
there is a little more going on than "lifestyle". I do realize the genetic
material is passed on and is a reflection of the lifestyle of the parents and
other ancestors, but there is a distinction and other considerations with
this particular problem. Priscilla

Hal,

>My five year old niece had her kidney
>totally destroyed by a Wilm's tumor, and although I don't speak for her,
>I doubt she thinks it was very protective.

You and Bernarr may not be disagreeing as much as you think. The point
he is trying to make is that it was the toxins the tumor was trying to
sequester that destroyed the kidney, not the tumor itself. He would
claim that the tumor was trying to isolate the toxins from infiltrating
and destroying still larger portions of the anatomy if the body had not
built the tumor to keep them thus localized.

You both agree that to resolve the cancerous tumor by removing the toxic
accumulations is the desired treatment. No one would argue that it would
be desirable to instigate the formation of cancerous tumors in the body
on purpose. It's just that when they do form it is a case of the body's
doing the best it can to defend itself under adverse circumstances.

In other words, the messages are: (a) the body always acts in its own
best interests to defend itself against assaults; (b) we need to place
the blame for our condition, not on the protective mechanism of the tumor
itself, but on the lifestyle that instigated the tumor's necessary
formation.

Physicians are always "fighting disease" when there really is no such
"thing" to fight. Disease is a condition, not a physical entity to be
driven out. Cancer is an effect, not a cause. The focus should be on
removing causes, something most physicians with all their high-tech
surgical and pharmaceutical "weapons" at hand will freely admit they are
clueless about.

>I was relating your account of your fast to my wife, and she wondered
>aloud if you lost much weight. I thought no, because you were inactive,
>but the bet is on.

Your wife wins. I went from 113 lbs to 99.5, now back up to 105. (Easy
go, easy come. (:-))

You need to realize that there's at least 2 lbs of fecal matter in the
digestive system when the fast begins. Some of this moved out on Day 4
of the fast and more on Day 7. I also don't drink a lot of water when I
fast, so dehydration probably accounted for several more pounds. (I have
actually gained a pound from one day to the next while fasting, simply by
drinking a lot of water in between, but not this time.)

Then there are other easy-to-release toxins that the body gets rid of on
a short fast. I lose about 3 lbs/day for the first 2 days, then it slows
to 2 lbs for a few days, then 1 lb. After about 12 days, it becomes 1/2
lb/day. Toward the end of my 21-day fast I think it was starting to slow
to about 1/4 lb/day.

You are right about 1 thing: It only takes about 3-4 oz of fat burning
to keep the metabolism going while you are lying peacefully in bed. It's
just that there are other things going on besides early in the fast.

The Boutenko family are angels from heaven and have done a great deal on the
national level to bring raw food awareness to people. Their book is very
inspiring and interesting and it is written in their 'voice' which makes it
even better. It is well worth owning, and right now they could use the
support to facilitate getting their next book printed. Be sure to buy it

Hy Brenda, thankyou for the mock tuna recipe. I also felt compelled to
send Anca a note. I have managed to lose both of my parents. My mom to
cancer and heart disease, my father in a fatal car accident. Nothing is
more sobering, then to realize you are an orphan, no matter if you are
an adult, and don't need guidance anymore . It sounds like your son is
fighting his cooked food addiction. That can be as addicting as
cigarettes, coffee, or alcohol. The raw treats ought to help. Anyway I'm
glad your son is over the worse of his illness, and hope he continues to
improve. Judy

Hello everybody!

As usual, I want to answer to all who wrote me.

I'm still here, even I think that we'll suspend the phone line.
I've noticed about the cheese. But what type of milk is better?
Somebody told me that for cough is very good honey with goat milk. It is
true?

Today I found fresh pineapples. I've spent my last $4.00 for buying one
to my Dad. He was happy and he liked it a lot. I'm happy too for this.

Carol G. asked me about any way for my family to relocate in U.S. Well,
my mother and my father I don't think that will be able to do this, at
this age. But with me and my fiancé is other thing...We are very good in
computers, and we hope that maybe we could find a job in Europe or U.S.
Now, our only target is to cure my father.

God bless you all.

A few weeks ago I took my family to the only NJ restaurant listed in Raw
restaurants in Red Bank, Monmouth Cty. As it turned out, only a few
appetizers, salads, juices and smoothies are raw, ( D2E Menu ), but the most
amazing thing - my 7 and 10 yo dd's, raised on pizzeria pizza, actually
liked the soy cheese whole-grain pizza, as well as the unusual miso soup and
a fruit slushie. So it might be a good intro to vegan cuisine for SAD eaters.

Warning: if you go there north on Route 35, there is a big sign for "Broad
St." as a cross-street. This is either a different Broad St, or a different
segment of Broad St. but definately do NOT turn. Route 35 turns into Broad
St. We wasted about 45 minutes finding our way around, including constant
cell-phone communication with the restaurant.

They are dehydrated, which does involve some sort of heat. The
commercial growers are probably not too careful about sundrying or other
low temperature methods.

They are also one of the most heavily pesticided crops.

Sara,

NE Australia in the province of Queensland.

Judy,

I have a pair of gas perms too, but I never wear them anymore. I hate
the way they sting the eyes in a stiff breeze and how you can always tell
they in your eyes. I switched to soft lenses years ago and after trying
many brands have decided that CSI makes the best ones. I recommend you
switch.

One problem with hard lenses (including gas perms) is that they force
your eyeball to conform to their shape. They softs do not. So if your
vision ever does want to improve by way of changing your eyeball shape,
it won't be able to do so if you are continuing to wear hard lenses.

Ardie,

>You can get Essene Gospel of Peace for anywhere between $4.00 and
$12.00.

Or for $2 from Brother Nazariah -- ESSENEINFO@aol.com .

the problem as i see it (pun intended, not!) is that while you are wearing
the soft ones, you are suffering from malILLUMINATION, the term coined by
John Ott for the condition observed in his studies on light. my hard
lenses, altho holding my eyeballs in check, at least are full spectrum
allowing all the wavelengths of the visible spectrum into my eyes
preventing malillumination. the eye has dual function: not only to see, but
photonic energy stimulates various cells on/in the retina which are
intimate with the hypothalamus. this is referred to as the
retinal-hypothalamic-endocrine pathway. i'd rather have eyes held in place
than a disruption in my endocrine system. neil

What if you can have it both ways? I believe the CSI brand soft contacts
let in more UV than gas perms do. I think it's something like 98% of the
full spectrum, higher than any other lenses I know of.

And if you are really concerned, you could wear one and leave the other
one off, alternating which one every day.

Dave,

You may contact them at esseneinfo@aol.com.

A bit of raw honey (1 tsp), because of all the digestive enzymes it
contains, seems to enhance the digestibility of nuts for me -- as does a
long fast (with gradual reintroduction of them).

Anca,

Honey, yes; goat milk, no. Mix a little honey and the juice of a lemon
in water feed him that. Don't worry too much about the cough. His body
has congestion in his throat or lungs that the cough is trying to clear.
It will stop by itself when there is no further need for it.

Hello Friends!
In Romania is cold and it's finally snowing.

My father hasn't good teeth, he has no teeth at all, so he can't chew.
He is only 100 pounds.

I'll try to keep him far from cheese and chicken soup. Vegetable soup is
OK? Somebody told me about eggs. He likes eggs. Thanks. He also eats
macaroni. It's OK?

It's a good idea for making juice. I already made apple juice. Thanks,
Nomi. He doesn't like the taste of carrots, so with what do I blend them?

No, I can't collect rain water. I can't find a filter or a water
distiller. I tried to find distilled water at the pharmacy, but they had
only Hydrogen Peroxide ;)) I'll try to boil the water for chlorine get out.

Carol, the Orthodox Church doesn't have fresh food. More, the priest
wants money for prayers...And the markets or stores are selling
anything even in the worse state. We had "the surprise" to found mould
into the coconuts or bananas, so you understand...Here, everything is
good enough for consumers.

Thanks, Judy, for prayers. Thank you all for helping me so much.

Where are you all? In which part of US?

With all my love,
Anca

Anca,

OK, but raw eggs -- from a healthy chicken.

>He also eats macaroni. It's OK?

Not so good. Keep to a minimum.

>He doesn't like the taste of carrots, so with what do I blend them?

Try with apple juice.

No, don't boil, just let it sit in a bucket or pot overnight or even a
day or two. The gas will escape by itself. You can taste it yourself to
test.

If you boil the water and there are any mineral impurities in the water,
they will concentrate because some water will leave as steam, but the
minerals will stay behind. Understand?

>Here, everything is good enough for consumers.

How terrible!

>Where are you all? In which part of US?

For me, Michigan -- near the Great Lakes. It is winter here too. Snow
everywhere.

You are a very loving daughter.

Take Care,

Bob Avery (RWAvery@vegetarians.com)

All dairy food is very bad. The only exception would be raw goat milk and
this must be from a very clean herd of goats. DAiry creates much mucous and
will make coughing and respiration worse.
Have you thought at all about the idea of a nebulizer and inhaling the mist
with colloid silver in it?
Please do not feel that your father has to eat a lot, the less he eats, and
the more simple food that he eats, the more energy his body will have for
cleansing and healing.
Of course, herbs and all alternative approaches need time to work, they are
not like drugs that are faster acting. You must not give up hope, but if he
is truly "end stage" there are probably some drugs that could make him more
comfortable. That is not my area of expertise. Wishing you the best-

Nomi Shannon
