Ingredients for Pure Tea
- one glass litre bottle of Mountain Valley Water, or any glass bottle filled with the best artesian water you can dig up.
- a persistantly sunny spot on a hot summer day
Directions for Making Pure Tea
- leave the glass bottle of water outside in the sun for a few hours during the hotest part of the day. the glass can have an effect similar to a lens or a magnifying glass such that the water will get very hot. you can test it during the day to see how hot the water is getting. wait till it is as hot as tea before drinking most of it. i don't really understand everything, but this seems to taste and feel a lot better than boiling water in a pot on a stove. you will need to use a towel to open handle the water since the bottle will be so hot. Try it. Great for Sundecks, but warning: glass can be dangerous in public crowds.
what i really would like to find is a commerial bottle that actually is a double walled glass lens for a more effective heating. There oughta be ..
I have actually been drinking hot water in glass bottles for many years, including yesterday. I still love it. I prefer it plain, but sometimes I flavor the tea. Lots of herbs to try, a tricky one to make but soothing to drink is marshmellow. (real marshmmellow, not the commecial sugar treat)
- add lemon juice before drinking
